Meet Courtney Sullivan

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist & Certified Personal Trainer

Courtney Sullivan is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) who is deeply passionate about helping others achieve optimal health through the powerful balance of nutrition and movement.

Through her private practice, Nutrition for Body and Mind, she guides clients toward meaningful, sustainable change, whether their goals include improving performance, increasing energy, managing a medical condition, or building a stronger, healthier lifestyle.

Her work centers on practical lifestyle behavior modifications, sports nutrition strategies, hydration and supplementation guidance, and fully customized nutrition plans designed to support each individual’s unique needs, including food allergies and nutrition-related conditions.

Her philosophy is rooted in education and empowerment. Courtney emphasizes pre- and post-workout nutrition, portion control, meal timing, label reading, dining and travel strategies, and personalized macronutrient needs, always with the goal of helping clients build a healthy relationship with food. Rather than promoting restrictive dieting, she champions an intuitive, whole-food-based approach that properly fuels the body, provides lasting energy, and supports long-term weight and performance goals. She believes that true wellness comes from consistency, balance, and understanding, not extremes.

Courtney’s professional foundation was built during six years as a clinical dietitian in an acute care hospital setting, where she also led a monthly diabetes support group for community members. She has worked alongside board-certified gastroenterologists and neurologists, supporting clients with digestive disorders, weight loss, lean muscle gain, and holistic health programs. Her experience extends into corporate wellness initiatives, including work with Active at Disney, and nutrition analysis for health-focused brands like KIND Healthy Grains.

As a lifelong athlete and marathon finisher (3:47, top 3% of female finishers), she understands firsthand the discipline and mindset required to perform at a high level.

Above all, Courtney’s life is guided by integrity and strong ethical values, both professionally and personally. As a mother of three, including a daughter and identical twin boys, family is at the center of everything she does. She approaches her work with initiative, tenacity, enthusiasm, and an unwavering commitment to doing what is right. Her clients trust her not only for her expertise but for her honesty, compassion, and dedication to helping them build healthy lives from the inside out.
